We Are Looking for Dedicated People to Join Our Board
We seek to attract dedicated individuals who can lend their experience to steer the organization by providing guidance towards our mission, purposes and operational activities. Our Board Members must share in our compassionate commitment to aid those struggling to escape poverty. Members are charged with the task of caring for the assets of the organization and ensuring adequate resources by utilizing their connections to spur interest in and support of the organization. In addition, they are asked to safeguard and enhance the reputation and integrity of the organization in the eyes of the public. The Board of Directors will meet on a quarterly basis.
Members of the Board and the Executive Director must adhere to the fiduciary responsibility of which they have accepted; to protect and govern the application of funds in accordance with the mission and purpose towards which people or entities have donated funds. Lastly, members are asked to provide feedback on the strategic plan and evaluate its implementation. This role does not extend to the operations behind the projects, but does include external oversight.
